clunkerYou know that clunker that is sitting in your backyard, taking up space (and dripping various car fluids) in your driveway, or cluttering up your garage? Well, let us just say that Congress would not only help you get rid of it, but they would pay you for it in the bargain — would you take advantage of that?

Because not only is it happening, there is talk of having the unique, one of a kind cash for gas guzzlers program extended to early fall, as long as the program which is currently in place ends up being successful.

The program has an amazing one billion dollars worth of funding, in the hopes of covering about two hundred and fifty thousand gas guzzling clunker vehicles. The program will begin officially within the next thirty days or so.

phpThumb_generated_thumbnailjpgFord is a brand of car that you know is going to be well-made and you are either going to love it or hate it – that is the deal with the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO.  This car has been around for quite a while although; it has been quite a while since the SHO has rolled itself out of the Ford headquarters.  2010 is the year for the newest Ford Taurus SHO to roll out and to be honest; I think that this car is going to make quite a refreshing splash onto the market.

For one, I think that the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO is definitely one sexy car and that is one of the main reasons why people have started taking interest in it again.  The sexy factor has only increased in the 2010 model as they have redone some of the exterior and redone a lot of the interior.  Although the overall body is going to be the same shape – if you love it, you love it if you don’t, you hate it.  It’s just the way this particular car has been perceived.

Because of the direct injection nature of the mill and the twin turbos, turbo lag is nearly eliminated, and although normal road sound is not that intrusive, an audio-tuned cone pointing towards the cockpit feeds aural excitement with a nice induction-based growl.  That is what makes this car sexy under the hood!

2010 Mazda CX9 debut

Mazda is one of those brands of cars that I love.  Not only are these cars extremely well-made, but the overall look and feel of them is really and truly incredible.  Take the 2010 Mazda CX9 for example, this car is not only chic in how it looks, but it is certainly top of the line in the way of engines, as it has a MZR 2.3L direct injection turbo engine, which is absolutely incredible for a Mazda to have.

The 2010 Mazda CX9 is one of the many cars that are being debuted at the New York Auto Show this year and while I am one of the many people looking forward to that show, this car is especially one of the main reasons why I am looking forward to it.  This is a car that can seat up to seven people and it is actually a crossover SUV, which I love.

The new and improved safety system and all of the new options as well as interior and exterior design really make this beautiful car pop all over the place!  Just remember, the 2010 Mazda CX9!

Incentive for Ditching Gas Guzzlers

gas_guzzler_cartoonGood news for Americans who have gas guzzling vehicles they are eager to get rid of, but who may not be able to afford a trade in. The House of Representatives has just approved new legislation known as “cash for clunkers.” It may allow people buying a new car to receive an incentive of up to $4,500 if they will trade in a gas guzzling vehicle for a more fuel efficient one.

There are some strings, of course — aren’t their always? For instance, to qualify for the trade in, a vehicle has to be rated at eighteen miles per gallon and absolutely no more than that. However, that is good new for people who own vans, trucks, or SUVs. If a vehicle gets four miles per gallon more, at least, the owner will get a $3,500 voucher. For cars that get ten miles per gallon more, owners are eligible for an additional thousand dollars.

There is no such saying, but state that `God created earth and Ford created cars’ to anyone who have the slightest knowledge of cars and they will agree in unison. The stark fact is that no other motor manufacturing organization has created an impact on the world wide automobile industry than the organization founded by Henry Ford has. Ford LogoRight down from small affordable cars to trucks, racing cars, luxury cars, eco friendly cars, Ford has made them all.

Even today, Ford Motor Company, which was established way back in June the sixteenth, 1903 by Henry Ford and having its headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan is constantly striving to manufacture cars that are appreciated by one and all. In 2007, Ford Motor Company became the world’s third largest motor manufacturing company. Prior to this it was the third largest motor manufacturing company of the world superseded only by Toyota, General Motors and Volkswagen. Some of its favorite brands are the Ford, Lincoln and Mercury brands and they are all sold in the USA and other places.

Mercedes-Benz Goes for Broke

benzMercedes-Benz is going for broke, with the brand new S Class AMG models: the 2010 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG and the S65 AMG.

A lot of people found the former AMG models in the S Class to be a little too … subtle, a little discreet. The overall result, for some, was a little dull. Fortunately, the new editions have taken care of that little problem quite well. The new S Class models are altogether sharper. There are no more circular fog lights and there is room for plenty of center air intake within the fascia in front.

And don’t worry — these cars are still going to be outrageous, as far as the upper levels of luxury goes. The engines are sick in both models; the S65 has a twin turbocharged 6.0 liter V-12 engine. The end product of that model? Over seven hundred pounds per feet of torque. It can go from 2000 rpm to 4000 rpm. The S63 is a little less gregarious, if you are looking for something tamer.
