Chevy Camaro’s Production Moved A Month Later
General Motors does not have an official word yet as to why the production of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro was moved from February 16 to March 16.
Official are mum about it and only cites a “variety of reasons” why the production of the 2010 Chevy Camaro will not push through as scheduled in their Oshawa, Ontario plant.
The car manufacturer assures the public that they will deliver what they ought to deliver. The volume of cars, according to them, will be there in time for the spring or summer sale. They are also confident that the company will hit its targets for the brand.
GM has to fill in around 10000 advance orders. GM officials foresee production of these orders in a few months’ time.
The Camaro 2010 was first revealed to the press as a vehicle that will outclass its rivals in terms of fuel efficiency. Designers are expecting around 2 or 3 mpg of advantage over the competition.
Under its hood, the Camaro 2010 will have a V6 engine capable of an output of 304 horse power with a highway mileage of 26 mpg. Another option is for the V8 engine that roars at 422 horsepower at 23 mpg.
According to GM, Camaro will be a car that achieves the balance of power and efficiency for its owner.
Better efficiency of the engine is achieved through a developed direct fuel injection technology which promotes lower emission and better fuel economy.
